29.01.2016 13:17

TILE OF SPAIN AT CEVISAMA 2016 // The forthcoming edition of Cevisama, the Spanish ceramic tile industry’s leading trade fair,  is set to be bigger and better than ever with an extensive commercial offer showcasing a competitive, innovative and sustainable industry

The 34th edition of Cevisama will be taking place at the Feria Valencia exhibition site between 1st and 5th February 2016. Almost 100 Spanish ceramic tile manufacturers will be present at the event. The Cevisama, Hábitat and Fimma Maderalia trade fairs will once again be joining forces, although this year they will be accompanied by Espacio COCINA, making this event the best and most complete showcase for Spanish architecture, design and interior décor. Together with the activities included in the third edition of ‘See You in Valencia’, they form a complete trade fair programme that looks set to produce optimum results.

Attracting over 76,000 visitors, including around 14,000 from abroad, Cevisama has become the sector’s major international centre for business. The 2015 edition saw a record number of international visitors, exceeding the numbers of the previous 33 editions. Each year this fair attracts thousands of professionals from around the world and proof of the media interest it generates are the more than 300 accredited international journalists that cover the event.

On Tuesday, 2nd February, the second day of the fair, Ascer will be holding its traditional international press conference in order to present the key data and future strategies of the ceramic tile industry. The press conference will also include the prize ceremony for the Tile of Spain Awards for Architecture, Interior Design and Final Degree Project.

In order to raise the international profile of Spain’s ceramic tile sector, Tile of Spain, in collaboration with the Spanish Institute of Foreign Trade (ICEX), has invited over 100 journalists writing for the world’s leading architecture, interior design and ceramic tile journals to obtain a first-hand insight into the unique and innovative nature of the Spanish products.
