Iris Ceramica Group expande su presencia en el Reino Unido con la apertura de un nuevo showroom en Londres, un espacio ideado para la exposición de las colecciones best seller de la compañía azulejera. Un elegante edificio de inspiración industrial en Old Street es la nueva sede de la firma, concebida como punto de diseño donde interactuar, inspirarse y alimentar la creatividad.

Tras la apertura de Nueva York, Iris Ceramica Group, fabricante de gres porcelánico, ha decidido potenciar también su presencia en Inglaterra, con un establecimiento comercial en el distrito de Clerkenwell.

Inaugurado oficialmente el 20 de junio, Iris Ceramica Group London, situado en
Old Street (61-67), supone un punto de inflexión para otorgar visibilidad a toda la versatilidad del material cerámico, mediante decoraciones y soluciones de interiores que acompañan al visitante a descubrir las múltiples e inéditas aplicaciones del gres porcelánico.

Iris Ceramica Group is increasing its presence in Britain with the opening of a new showroom in the capital which showcases Holding’s best-selling collections. The elegant, industrial-style building in Old Street is the location for the Group’s new display space, and a meeting place for interaction, inspiration and creativity.

Following the recent launch in New York, Iris Ceramica Group, market leader in the production of high-end porcelain and ceramic tiles, decided to strengthen its presence in London with a new prestigious space in the creative district of Clerkenwell.

Officially opened on 20 June 2019, Iris Ceramica Group London, located at 61-67 Old Street, emphasizes the versatility of ceramics, with furnishings and interior solutions that enable visitors to discover multiple, unprecedented applications for porcelain tiles.

Designed by the Florence architectural practice Area 17, the new showroom covers three floors with a total display area of almost 600 square meters and for the first time includes products from brands such as Ariostea, FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti, Fiandre Architectural Surfaces, Iris Ceramica, SapienStone and Porcelaingres.

Not merely a display area but also an exclusive, welcoming place where the Group’s best-selling collections bring hugely inspirational, stunning contract and residential room settings to life. The spaces are designed to be fluid, transforming from co-working areas to conference rooms or event lounges.

To celebrate the official opening, Iris Ceramica Group enlisted the help of Henrietta Thompson, in partnership with the creative food studio Blanch & Shock, and international names in architecture and design such as Mamou-Mani, Jump Studios, Brodie Neill, Marléne Huissoud and Paul Cocksedge Studio.

Common Ground, the name of the project, was conceived by H. Thompson. The team of designers created a personal mood-board associated with creative London
imagery, subsequently transformed by Blanch & Shock into elegantly sophisticated gourmet
dishes served to guests at the official opening.

Sustainability, innovation and beauty: these are the determining factors behind the project, not to mention the core values of the Group; keywords that are inextricably linked to the development in the City. Dezeen, world-class media partners for the launch, are one of the most influential online architecture, interiors and design magazines.

During her brief welcome speech at the opening, Federica Minozzi, CEO of Iris Ceramica Group, commented “Everything you have the opportunity to admire today in our new gallery can be produced and purchased, including surfaces, furnishings and decorative items.

However, our aim today is not to showcase our wide product range but to design beautiful, practical and efficient solutions. I hope this showroom will soon become the main point of call for architects and the design community where they can meet to exchange ideas, to inspire and be inspired.”

This opening marks an important milestone in the positioning and expansion strategy of the Holding group’s international network of display venues, in one of the cities synonymous with contemporary architecture.
