Las nuevas propuestas de Isla Tile en el escaparate de Cersaie 2017 / The new Isla Tile proposals on display at Cersaie 2017

Vulkan - EL PERIÓDICO DEL AZULEJO

EL PERIÓDICO DEL AZULEJO
18/10/2017

Isla Tile arrived at Cersaie 2017 with a display full of original and refined suggestions developed to meet the needs of modern architecture.

Starting from Gems, the result of an original parallelism conceived by Isla between the world of precious gems and the world of wood essences. Inspired by rustic wood, Gems aesthetics are characterised by their intriguing colour variations, the unpredictable veining and the charming worn effects that belong even to the hard stones.

Its textures, which enhance its vivid colours, are fully appreciable with the different laying patterns made possible by the collection's slat sizes and the decorative effects available with the Shangai version, born from the apparently random combination of narrow slats of different lengths and widths. With its four highly fashionable colours – Bianco, Agata, Quarzo and Fumée – GEMS expresses the intensity and depth of the materials most loved and sought after by modern designers.

Moving on then with Charm, a collection of surfaces steeped with charm and inspired by the warmth of reclaimed wood to create environments with a suggestive and emotional design. Charm proposes wood with a worn look, marked by use, the surface of which seems to be treated with a layer of varnish for a rustic style, distinguished by a vintage elegance.

And last, but not least, Vulkan, the innovative project that recreates the mysterious, primordial and hypnotic charm of volcanoes in porcelain stoneware.  The wealth of reflections and shading typical of some of the best-known volcanic glass transforms Vulkan into an original furnishing option. The three-dimensional effects of the surface and the irregular edges make the collection ideal for both interior design and for reclaiming buildings in historic settings.

Black Ossidiana, beige Pietra di Luna and grey Cristallo di Rocca - these are the colours chosen by Isla Tiles for covering architectonic spaces and volumes with innovative, eye-catching designs. The collection is available in a wide range of sizes, from 30.2x30.2 to large 100x100 cm panels, to enable the client to select the laying pattern best suited to his requirements. The collection is rounded out with the 5x5 mosaic on 30x30 mesh backing, ideal for decorative inserts on both walls and floors.

Metamorphosing materials, from primeval elements to today’s concrete representation of style and natural elegance. The new Stone Pit collection by Isla Tiles, in porcelain stoneware, embodies the essence of nature in its most solid, well-defined interpretation – stone – turning it into an element of pure design.

Stone Pit is a tale told by several voices etched in rock, weathered by wind, rain and storms and caressed by the sun at the crack of dawn. This collection is based on multiple inspirations right from the start, with 4 different colourways – Wind, Rain, Thunder and Sunrise – to offer a choice that can interpret different tastes and aesthetic sensitivities. The variety of sizes and special pieces also allows spaces, both residential and public, to be customized, to make them really unique.
