El 30 de noviembre, a partir de las 19.00 horas, se celebrará en las instalaciones de APE Grupo en Castelló una nueva sesión de las Ágora Inspiring Talks, una iniciativa de la firma cerámica en colaboración con el Colegio Territorial de Arquitectos de Castellón (CTAC).
En esta ocasión, la invitada será la reconocida y premiada arquitecta italiana Benedetta Tagliabue, actual directora del Estudio Miralles Tagliabue (EMBT), quien impartirá una conferencia sobre sus proyectos.
Junto a Enric Miralles, Tagliabue ha desarrollado una gran labor arquitectónica con trabajos en todo el mundo, entre los que destaca el Parlamento de Escocia o el mercado de Santa Caterina de Barcelona, entre muchos otros.
Benedetta Tagliabue toma la dirección del estudio en el año 2000, continuando con proyectos como la Escuela de Música de Hamburgo (2000), el Ayuntamiento de Utrecht en Holanda (2000), el Parc Diagonal Mar en Barcelona (2002), el Campus Universitario de Vigo (2003), el Parlamento de Escocia (2004), el Mercado de Santa Caterina (2005) y el edificio de Gas Natural Fenosa (2007).
Palmarés de reconocimientos
Benedetta Tagliabue es Premio Nacional de Arquitectura de España 1995. En el año 2005 fue galardonada en la Bienal de Arquitectura Española, Premio Manuel de la Dehesa, por su proyecto del Parlamento de Escocia 2004 y el mismo año gana el prestigioso RIBA Stirling Prize, Mejor Edificio del 2005 por el Parlamento de Escocia, que también fue premiado en la VIII Bienal Española de Arquitectura y Urbanismo, y con el Premio Nacional de Patrimonio Cultural concedido por la Generalidad de Cataluña por el mercado de Santa Caterina en 2001. En el año 2009 recibió el Premio Ciudad de Barcelona en la categoría de proyección Internacional por el Pabellón de España de la Exposición Universal de Shanghái de 2010. En 2009 se le concedió el premio Fellowship RIBA de arquitectura, otorgado por el Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). En 2013 obtuvo el RIBA Jenks Award. Ha sido galardonada con la Creu de Sant Jordi 2019. Es integrante del jurado del premio Pritzker.
On November 30th, starting at 7:00 PM, a new session of Ágora Inspiring Talks will be held at the facilities of APE Grupo in Castelló. This initiative is organized by the ceramic company in collaboration with the Territorial College of Architects of Castellón (CTAC).
On this occasion, the guest speaker will be the renowned and award-winning Italian architect Benedetta Tagliabue, current director of the Miralles Tagliabue Estudio (EMBT), who will give a lecture on her projects.
Alongside Enric Miralles, Tagliabue has developed significant architectural work worldwide, including projects such as the Scottish Parliament or the Santa Caterina Market in Barcelona, among many others.

Awards and Recognitions
Benedetta Tagliabue received the National Architecture Prize of Spain in 1995. In 2005, she was awarded at the Spanish Architecture Biennial, Manuel de la Dehesa Prize, for her project of the Scottish Parliament in 2004. In the same year, she won the prestigious RIBA Stirling Prize for the Best Building of 2005 for the Scottish Parliament, which was also awarded at the VIII Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism, and with the National Cultural Heritage Prize awarded by the Generalitat de Catalunya for the Santa Caterina Market in 2001. In 2009, she received the City of Barcelona Award in the category of International Projection for the Spanish Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo 2010. In 2009, she was awarded the RIBA Fellowship in Architecture by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). In 2013, she received the RIBA Jenks Award.
