La eficiencia de las fachadas 'XLight', en Mar de Plata
El estudio de arquitectura Mariani-Pérez Maraviglia ha empleado los acabados de Urbatek para revestir la fachada ventilada del Centro Comercial y Cultural Paseo Aldrey, un edificio de referencia y energéticamente sostenible en la ciudad argentina de Mar de Plata.
El material escogido para llevar a cabo el proyecto fue el porcelánico extrafino Xlight, que, en su gran formato 100x300 centímetros y mínimo espesor, 3,5mm, se instaló en la fachada de grandes dimensiones, cubriendo aproximadamente unos 7.000 metros cuadrados de extensión.
La firma de Porcelanosa Grupo Butech, experta en innovación en sistemas constructivos, fue la encargada de colocar, mediante sistema de anclaje, la fachada de grapa vista en XLight. El resultado fue un colosal edificio que remodela el entorno y lo convierte en punto neurálgico de la ciudad.
La lámina cerámica escogida para la fachada ventilada del Centro Paseo Aldrey fue el Xlight Basic Sand, en combinación con Basic Dark, ambos en acabado monocolor nature. Su instalación se efectuó de forma sencilla ya que, junto con su gran formato, el material cuenta con un peso ligero en cada pieza. De este modo, se facilita la carga, el transporte y manipulación del mismo en el momento de la instalación.
El Xlight de Urbatek es, además de exclusivo en el diseño, altamente resistente, al tiempo que favorece, en combinación con las soluciones constructivas Butech, la eficiencia energética. De hecho, este centro se concibió bajo premisas de sostenibilidad, favoreciendo hasta un 30% de ahorro energético en comparación con otros proyectos de similares características.
El Centro Comercial y Cultural Paseo Aldrey, en Mar de Plata, es un edificio concebido para albergar espacios de ocio y divulgación cultural, como cines, exposiciones y eventos, adicionalmente a sus más de 100 locales comerciales. Su remodelación ha supuesto la reinvención y recuperación patrimonial de un antiguo y emblemático edificio: la Terminal de Ómnibus. Su puesta en valor ha significado, además, la revalorización de la zona, convertida en concurrida extensión de la ciudad.
THE XLIGHT EFFICIENT FACADE AT THE CENTRO PASEO ALDREY, MAR DE PLATA // In Mar del Plata, Argentina, we can find one of the latest projects in which PORCELANOSA Grupo has participated. The Mariani-Pérez Maraviglia studio thought about Urbatek with regard to covering the Paseo Aldrey Cultural and Shopping Centre ventilated facade, an energy sustainable building of reference.
The chosen material which was used to carry out the project was the Xlight porcelain tile, which was installed on the large façade in its extra-large (100x300 cm) format and minimum thickness (3.5 mm), covering an area of approximately 7000 m2.
Butech, the expert firm from Porcelanosa Grupo in buiding systems innovation was responsible for putting a fastening system in place, the visible clip facade in XLight. The result was a colossal building that reshapes the environment, as well as making it the nerve centre of the city.
The chosen porcelain tile for the ventilated facade at Centro Paseo Aldrey was the Xlight Basic Sand, in combination with Basic Dark, both in one-colour nature finish. The installation was made simple because, along with its large format, the material has a light weight in each piece. Thus, the loading, the transporting and the handling of it at the time of installation is made a lot easier. The Xlight from Urbatek is also unique in design, highly resistant, while improving, combined with the building systems from Butech, the energy efficiency. In fact, this centre was conceived under assumptions of sustainability, encouraging up to 30% energy savings compared to other similar projects.
The Paseo Aldrey Cultural and Shopping Centre in Mar del Plata is a building designed to house leisure areas and cultural promotion, such as cinemas, exhibitions and events, in addition to its 100 commercial premises, and more.
Its refurbishment has led to the reinvention and heritage recovery of an old flagship building: The Bus Station Terminal. Its development has also meant a revaluation of the area, which has become a busy extension of the city.
