Milan Design Week 2016, the international reference point

Talenti, manufacturer of outdoor furniture, will present at Milan Design Week 2016 Eden , the new collection designed by Marco Acerbis, at the upcoming Milan Design Week.

The iconic product of this family of products is the Daybed, an innovative sofa for the outdoors that seems suspended in the air: the imposing upholstered volumes in fact rest on a lightweight cantilevered structure, becoming the undisputed focal point of the product. The canopy provides privacy and protection and, when closed, rests on the perimeter of the aluminum structure, integrating perfectly with the sofa’s clean and elegant lines.

Fabrizio ed Edoardo Cameli, rapresentatives of the two generations at the head of the company, and Marco Acerbis who is the designer of Talenti outdoor living’s last collections, will be available for interviews and further consideration at the trade show. 

LISTONE GIORDANO // Listone Giordano will present new experimentations on wooden surfaces at a prototype level through co-operation with Lorenzo Bragato for Inkiostro Bianco Lab. Unidci, the new wood collection 2016 characterized by indelible grooves and recesses entering the material to extract a new essence. A new evocative power emerges from engraved decoration: as natural as that of wood, as deep as a work of art carved by wood, as deep as a work of art sculpted by hand.

MILANO CONTRACT DISTRICT // Opening their doors during the week of the Salone (from Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 7:00pm) Milano Contract District, the new Milan space that’s dedicated to Real Estate, which, thanks to an exceptional brand partner, will be previewing an innovative 1,700 square meter showroom.

Created by the best design and interior finishing brands, the District intends to offer, through a single, integrated and advanced platform, a package of new and unique services dedicated to professionals in the Real Estate sector.

Inside this exclusive space it will be possible to visit “The Apartment”: a show-house in 1:1 scale built indoors and completely functional. Designed in every detail in order to offer a unique and full-immersion experience, The Apartment is the expression of each of the partner brands contributing to subtle and unexpected furnishing solutions and applications within the 130 square meters of actual domestic spaces.

A surprise for visitors is also a 250 sq.m hospitality area, the District Lounge, designed for meeting, discussion and project sharing among design professionals, developers and home buyers, where partners can take advantage of an exclusive coffee bar inside and a functional kitchen with cooking shows and chefs tables’ sessions. This project has been created in collaboration with: Ernestomeda, Aeg, Florim, Flos, Fontanot, Listone Giordano, Lualdi, Oikos, Gessi, Lema, Bticino, Gyproc, Erco, Stilla.

NEL BLU DIPINTO DI BLU - CONCEPT LUCCHESE DESIGN //  With the participation of Inkiostrobianco Lab, Listone Girodano, Tabula Cucine and Hatria. In BLU dipinto di Blu you’ll find a multi-sensory space where texture, materials, colors, sounds and scents are blended together to recreate the sensation of the island of Capri. This trompe l'oeil effect overcomes the material boundaries of space involving the visitor in an all-encompassing experience.

The graphic textures typical of this region are the link between the exhibition areas and are transferred onto both the five stages as well as the products, helping to experience them all as integrated into a unique context. wooden surfaces and wallpapers conclude the scene in a kitchen area and a bath area where BLUE is the absolute protagonist.

SIEMATIC //  The German brand, winner of the German Design Awards will present the event: Your Lifestyle, your kitchen on April 13th.

In addition to the management of the company and Patrizia Lunghi, the Country Manager for Italy, the special guest of the evening will be Mick de Giulio, the famous American designer who developed the BeauxArts Collection.

V-Zug, the Swiss company that recently launched the innovative steam oven, and the agricultural concern, Cantine Conte Collalto, winner of numerous international awards, will be featured in a live show cooking!

During the event  on the 13th April the American Designer Mick de Giulio and Ceo of Siematic Ulrich W. Siekmann will be available for interviews, while Italy Country Manager Patrizia Lunghi will be available for interviews and further consideration during the whole Milan Design Week 2016.

TABULA // The kitchen has always been the center of our homes, one living space in which to live comfortably and explore our creativity to the fullest. Tabula is the new artisan kitchen that meets the needs of contemporary living with various customization options, a wide range of finishes and the harmonious pairing of the different materials juxtaposed with each other.

Tabula results form the meeting of designer Enrico Pasa with the historic company Trento&Bizzotto, specializing in the construction of kitchens with quality materials and traditional methods. Together they decided to create an innovative product rich in contemporary style, a designer kitchen that is an ad hoc solution, composed of systems with a strong identity that integrate and complement each other with dimensional, material and aesthetic flexibility that gives substance to the visions of design lovers. Design, select raw materials, and craftsmanship combine in a constant interface between knowledge, methods and experiences. The Tabula furniture systems are born from an idea: to give shape and substance to the beautiful, interacting with space and its configurations each time creating different sensations.
