Compac inaugura nuevo showroom en Miami / Compac opens its showroom in Miam
Compac afianza su posicionamiento en Estados Unidos, uno de sus principales mercados y el de mayor crecimiento, con la inauguración de su showroom en Miami. El espacio incluye salas de reuniones, un área de exposición de los distintos materiales y diseños Compac, con piezas emblemáticas como la encimera Quartzrock de Arik Levy y distintas áreas de trabajo.
La innovadora propuesta de showroom, bautizado como Salon, the Matter Mastering Immersion, presenta de una forma vivencial, las distintas posibilidades de los materiales Compac y se convierte en un espacio donde arquitectos, diseñadores y profesionales de estos ámbitos, acuden para inspirarse y trasladar sus ideas en proyectos reales. Conscientes de la importancia de experimentar, tocar y ver de primera mano los materiales en sus distintas aplicaciones y tamaños, desde los más pequeños a los más grandes, Compac abre este espacio como una apuesta firme por una comunicación constante con los diseñadores para lograr proyectos únicos de escalas diferentes y a medida.
Paco Sanchis, CEO Compac, resume el planteamiento creativo del showroom: «Este espacio es un punto de encuentro y de diálogo con los profesionales del sector, un lugar en el que no solo exponemos lo que somos capaces de hacer, sino también lo que los arquitectos y diseñadores son capaces de crear con nuestros materiales.»
Para poder apreciar las posibilidades, el showroom cuenta con Materic Emotion, un espacio de 80 metros cuadrados diseñado por Elisa Ossino, un itinerario sensorial y cognitivo a través de los materiales Compac. Un lugar que expresa la versatilidad de sus aplicaciones y formas que pueden adoptar: superficies, suelos, muebles esculturales, paredes y formas inesperadas sorprenden al visitante y lo introducen en el mundo de Compac.
Además de esta colaboración con Elisa Ossino, se podrán apreciar también los diseños únicos y exclusivos de Arik Levy para la colección Ice of Genesis. Esta colección, flamante ganadora del prestigioso premio internacional Best of the Best de los premios Red Dot Design, es apta tanto para piezas escultóricas, y encimeras como para proyectos de gran envergadura, como aplacados y pavimentos. Para visualizar el efecto ICE –que evoca a los lagos helados del Ártico, fuente de inspiración de la colección– los distintos diseños se exponen también en tableros de gran formato.
Terrazzo Compac y Obsidiana Compac, el material más sostenible de Compac, están expuestos también en diferentes formatos y piezas que permiten visualizar el importante trabajo desarrollado desde el departamento de I+D+i y los progresos tecnológicos e investigaciones para avanzarse a los retos constructivos planteados, tanto en el ámbito de sostenibilidad como de la resistencia y rendimiento, y para dar respuesta a las necesidades de diseño, arquitectura y arte. Este compromiso con la investigación propia y con la tecnología más avanzada posiciona a Compac como compañía líder y a la vanguardia de la creación y fabricación de superficies constructivas.
Se trata de un espacio único en el que se puede apreciar el enorme esfuerzo que la empresa dedica a producir materiales innovadores, sostenibles y con diseños exclusivos. El showroom es «un nuevo lugar para la inspiración, un nuevo lugar para la creación».
Compac, one of the leading companies in decorative terrazzo, quartz, and Obsidiana surfaces, strengthens its presence in the United States, one of its main and fast-growing markets, with the opening of its showroom in Miami. The 146.3 sqm space includes meeting rooms, an exhibition area of different Compac materials and designs, with emblematic pieces such as the Quartzrock countertop designed by Arik Levy, and different work areas.
The innovative showroom proposal, known as Salon, the Matter Mastering Immersion, presents, in an experiential way, the different possibilities offered by Compac materials and becomes a space where architects, designers and professionals from these fields come to be inspired and transfer their ideas into real projects. Aware of the importance of experiencing, touching and seeing first-hand the materials in their different applications and sizes, from the smallest to the largest, Compac opens this showroom to enhance communication with designers to achieve unique projects of different scales and customized projects.

To be able to appreciate the possibilities of the material, the showroom includes Materic Emotion, an 80 square meters space designed by Elisa Ossino, a sensory and cognitive path through Compac materials. A place that best expresses their versatility, where the applications and possible shapes that Compac materials can take are shown. From surfaces to floors to sculptural furnishings: unexpected shapes surprise and lead visitors to discover the world of Compac.
In addition to this collaboration with Elisa Ossino, visitors will also be able to appreciate Arik Levy’s unique and exclusive designs for the Ice of Genesis collection. This collection, winner of the prestigious international award Best of the Best Red Dot Design, is suitable for both sculptural pieces and countertops as well as large-scale projects, such as cladding and flooring. To visualize the ICE effect – which evokes the frozen lakes of the Arctic, a source of inspiration for the collection – the different versions are also displayed on large-format boards.
Terrazzo COMPAC and Obsidiana Compac, Compac’s most sustainable material, are also exhibited in different formats and pieces that allow visitors to visualize the important work carried out by the R&D department and the technological progress and research to anticipate challenges posed by the construction industry, both in the field of sustainability and resistance and performance, and to respond to the needs of design, architecture and art. This commitment to research positions Compac as a leading company at the forefront of the creation and manufacture of construction surfaces.
It is a unique space where visitors can appreciate the enormous effort that the company dedicates to producing innovative, sustainable materials with exclusive designs. The showroom is «a new place for inspiration, a new place for creation».
During the opening, Rhea is also exhibited, the countertop designed by Elisa Ossino with Terrazzo Compac High Performance Stone, a state-of-the-art material, which comes in order to increase the performance of traditional terrazzo, turning it into an all-terrain material, more resistant, suitable for all types of surfaces, both indoors and outdoors.
