El Aula Fundación Torrecid de Liderazgo e Innovación de la UJI promueve premios, becas y prácticas / The Torrecid Foundation Partnership Programme for Leadership and Innovation to promote new projects
La Comisión Mixta de Seguimiento del aula ha presentado la memoria de actividades y las nuevas propuestas para el 2022
La Comisión Mixta de Seguimiento del Aula Fundación Torrecid de Liderazgo e Innovación de la Universitat Jaume I de Castellón ha presentado la memoria de las actividades realizadas durante el 2021 y ha aprobado la propuesta de actividades para el 2022.
A la reunión han asistido Inmaculada Rodríguez, vicerrectora de Estudiantado y Compromiso Social; Amelia Simó, directora del aula y directora de la Escuela Superior de Tecnología y Ciencias Experimentales (ESTCE), y Javier Gasch, responsable de selección del Departamento de Recursos Humanos de Torrecid.
Durante este último año, el Aula ha llevado a cabo numerosas actividades destinadas al estudiantado de la Universitat Jaume I, entre las que hay que destacar la convocatoria de las Becas Aula Fundación Torrecid 2020, que se resolvió y se realizó la entrega de las becas en el 2021, y la participación del Aula en el Programa UJI World, el programa de prácticas internacionales que promueve la movilidad del estudiantado de grado y máster en colaboración con empresas innovadoras del entorno con un alto nivel de internacionalización. También hay que destacar las convocatorias de los premios Torrecid al mejor trabajo de fin de grado y mejor trabajo de fin de máster de la ESTCE.
Por otro lado, el Aula Fundación Torrecid ha realizado diferentes actividades formativas como el seminario en línea «Cómo afrontar con éxito un proceso de selección», que contó con la participación de unas 80 personas. También ha desarrollado seis charlas impartidas por profesionales de Torrecid en varios grados y másteres de la UJI, en las que se han tratado temas como las técnicas de venta, salidas profesionales, estrategias en la dirección de empresas, etc. Además, se han organizado varias visitas a la empresa por parte de alumnado y profesorado de la ESTCE.
Además de estas actividades, también ha premiado al alumnado ganador de las Olimpiadas de Química. En el ámbito del empleo ha participado en la Feria de Empresas 2020-21 organizada por la Escuela Superior de Tecnología y Ciencias Experimentales; en la II Feria Virtual del Empleo de la UJI, y en las VII Jornadas de presentación de empresas colaboradoras con el Grado en Ingeniería Informática.
Entre las actividades que se promoverán en el 2022 destaca la concesión de diferentes tipos de premios para el estudiantado de la UJI, becas para la realización de prácticas internacionales en alguna de las delegaciones de la empresa en el extranjero, y la realización del Seminario de Liderazgo Internacional. Así mismo, también está prevista la realización de un Curso de Liderazgo e Innovación.
he Joint Monitoring Committee of the Torrecid Foundation Partnership Programme for Leadership and Innovation of the Universitat Jaume I has met to present the report of the activities carried out throughout 2021 and to approve the proposal of activities for 2022. The meeting was attended by Inmaculada Rodríguez, vice-rector for Students and Social Commitment; Amelia Simó, director of the partnership programme and director of the School of Technology and Experimental Sciences (ESTCE), and Javier Gasch, head of recruitment of the Torrecid Human Resources Department.
During this last year, the Torrecid Foundation Partnership Programme has carried out numerous activities aimed at students of the Universitat Jaume I: the call for the Aula Torrecid Foundation Scholarships 2020, which was resolved and the scholarships were awarded in 2021, and the participation of the Partnership Programme in the UJI World Programme, the international internship programme that promotes the mobility of undergraduate and master’s students in collaboration with innovative companies with a high level of internationalisation. It is also worth mentioning the Torrecid awards for the best bachelor’s thesis and the best master’s thesis of the ESTCE.
On the other hand, the Torrecid Foundation Partnership Programme has carried out different training activities such as the online seminar «How to successfully face a selection process», which was attended by around 80 people. It has also developed six talks given by Torrecid professionals in various degrees and masters of the UJI, in which topics such as sales techniques, career opportunities, strategies in business management, etc. have been discussed. In addition, several visits to the company have been organised by students and teaching staff of the ESTCE.
In addition to these activities, the Torrecid Foundation Partnership Programme also awarded prizes to the winning students of the Chemistry Olympics. In the field of employment, it has participated in the 2020-21 Business Fair organised by the School of Technology and Experimental Sciences; in the II Virtual Job Fair of the UJI, and in the VII Presentation Day of Companies collaborating with the Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering.
Some of the activities that will be promoted in 2022 are the awarding of different types of prizes for UJI students, scholarships for international internships in some of the company’s delegations abroad, and the International Leadership Seminar. Likewise, a Leadership and Innovation Course is also planned.
