Porcelanosa entrega en Madrid los Premios de Arquitectura, Interiorismo y Promoción Inmobiliaria / Toyo Ito receives the Honorary Prize at the 14th Porcelanosa Awards

La multinacional, que este año conmemora su 50º aniversario, otorgó el galardón honorífico a Toyo Ito / The company, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, presented its awards at the iconic Hotel Mandarín Oriental Ritz

Porcelanosa Grupo ha celebrado este miércoles la XIV edición de los Premios de Arquitectura, Interiorismo y Promoción Inmobiliaria en el Hotel Mandarín Oriental Ritz, con una gala conducida por Jaime Cantizano y una cena con un menú diseñado por Quique Dacosta, chef español con tres Estrellas Michelin.

El jurado, encargado de evaluar los proyectos participantes, ha estado formado por reconocidos profesionales del sector a nivel nacional e internacional, como son Alejandro Bueso-Inchausti (Bueso-Inchausti & Rein Arquitectos), Malika Junaid (M●Designs Architects), Diego Escario (Cano y Escario Arquitectura), Juan Carlos Baumgartner (spAce) y Alfonso Olalquiaga (Olalquiaga Arquitectos).

Durante la gala se entregaron los premios al Mejor Diseño de Futuro Sección Profesionales que recayó en la propuesta presentada por Héctor García del estudio VOLTEO; el Premio al Mejor Diseño del Año otorgado a la reforma del edificio KOI, realizado por la promotora Royal Metropolitan y el estudio Ortiz León Arquitectos; el Premio Especial 2023; cinco Menciones Especiales y un Premio Honorífico.

Destaca la entrega del Premio Especial 50 aniversario, concedido a la promotora inmobiliaria portuguesa Acrescentar, y el Premio Honorifico que recayó en el arquitecto japonés premiado con el Pritzker en 2013, Toyo Ito.

Entre los asistentes al evento, que contó con el patrocinio del Banco Santander y la colaboración de Deloitte y Seguros Catalana Occidente, se encontraban numerosas personalidades del ámbito empresarial junto a destacados profesionales del sector de la arquitectura y el interiorismo en el panorama nacional e internacional.

Last Wednesday, the Porcelanosa Group held the 14th edition of the Architecture, Interior Design and Real Estate Promotion Awards at the Hotel Mandarin Oriental Ritz, with a gala emceed by Jaime Cantizano and a dinner with a menu designed by Quique Dacosta, a Spanish chef with three Michelin Stars.

The jury, tasked with assessing the participating projects, consisted of renowned national and international professionals in the sector, such as Alejandro Bueso-Inchausti (Bueso-Inchausti & Rein Arquitectos), Malika Junaid (M●Designs Architects), Diego Escario (Cano y Escario Arquitectura), Juan Carlos Baumgartner (spAce) and Alfonso Olalquiaga (Olalquiaga Arquitectos).

During the gala, the prize for Best Design of the Future, Professional Section, was awarded to the proposal presented by Héctor García from the VOLTEO studio; the prize for Best Design of the Year was presented for the remodelling of the KOI building, carried out by Royal Metropolitan developers and the Ortiz León Arquitectos studio; the 2023 Special Award; five Honorary Mentions and one Honorary Prize.

Highlights included the presentation of the 50th anniversary Special Award, given to the Portuguese property developer Acrescentar, and the Honorary Prize, presented to the Japanese architect who received the Pritzker in 2013, Toyo Ito.

Among the attendees of the event, which was sponsored by Banco Santander in partnership with Deloitte and Seguros Catalana Occidente, were numerous personalities from the business sector, along with leading professionals from the architecture and interior design sector on the national and international scene.
