Después de siete ediciones con la denominación European BIM Summit, el congreso internacional de referencia sobre tecnologías, organizado por el Col·legi de l’Arquitectura Tècnica de Barcelona (Cateb), da un paso hacia la innovación y las nuevas tendencias del sector para consolidarse y crear una nueva identidad.

Después de siete años de experiencia y una vez integrado el concepto y la metodología BIM en el imaginario colectivo como modelo de gestión innovador e imprescindible en el sector para proporcionar una mayor eficacia y optimización de costes y recursos, es el momento de avanzar e ir un paso más allá.

Por eso, a partir de la presente edición, que por primera vez se celebra en el marco de Construmat, el congreso pasará a denominarse European Building Summit Barcelona (EBS Barcelona). Con una imagen renovada y un espectro temático más amplio, la evolución ayuda a incorporar en el congreso la construcción industrialitzada.

La nueva denominación, así como también el logo renovado del congreso, mantienen los conceptos European y Summit que identifican y diferencian el evento de otros similares. Pero ahora se pone especial atención en el building, para abrirse a las últimas tendencias en el sector de la construcción.

La amplitud que ofrece el nuevo naming, sin perder las raíces, permite una convivencia natural con la imagen, también renovada, del Cateb, y a la vez se asocia a la palabra Barcelona, como soporte reputacional y marca de ciudad. Un posicionamiento que quiere aprovechar el efecto tractor de la marca actual y, también, preparar una transición hacia el futuro, para abrirse a una audiencia más amplia.

After seven editions under the name of the European BIM Summit, the leading international congress on technologies, organized by Col ·legi de l’Arquitectura Tècnica de Barcelona (Cateb), takes a step towards innovation and new trends in the sector to consolidate and create his new identity. Once the BIM concept and methodology has been integrated into the collective imagination as an innovative and essential management model for the sector providing greater efficiency and optimization of costs and resources, it is time to move forward and go further. That’s why now on, starting with this edition, which is being held for the first time within the framework of Construmat, the congress will be the European Building Summit Barcelona (EBS Barcelona).

With a renewed image and a broader thematic spectrum, the evolution also mean the joining of construction to the congress.

The new name, and so the renewed logo of the congress, keeps the European and Summit concepts that identify and differentiate the event from their similars. But now with more attention on to the building, beyond the construction, to broaden out the thematic spectrum.

The range offered by the new naming, without losing its roots, means a natural coexistence with the image, also renewed, of the Cateb. and at the same time it is associated with the word Barcelona, using the city brand as a reputational suport. A positioning that wants to take advantage from his origins to move foreward and open up to a broader audience.
