CASTELLÓ. Antes de la celebración de Cersaie 2025, que se desarrollará tras el verano en Bolonia, la organización del evento ha anunciado que su próxima edición se celebrará del 21 al 25 de septiembre de 2026, adelantándose una semana respecto al calendario habitual.

La principal feria internacional en el campo de los recubrimientos cerámicos anticipará su comienzo debido a la celebración, en los mismos espacios de BolognaFiere, de la final de la Copa Davis de tenis, competición en la que participarán las 8 mejores selecciones nacionales del mundo.

Un acontecimiento deportivo con gran potencial turístico

Para poder habilitar tanto el recinto deportivo como el de la exposición, era necesario ajustar las fechas del salón. Así lo ha relatado Gianpiero Calzolari, presidente de BolognaFiere, quien ha expresado que «es un honor acoger un evento internacional como la Copa Davis, que dará mayor prestigio a nuestra ciudad», y agradeció la colaboración de Confindustria Ceramica.

Por su parte, Augusto Ciarrocchi, presidente de Confindustria Ceramica, remarcó la importancia de la confluencia de «sinergias entre Cersaie y la Copa Davis de Tenis, que elevará el impacto mediático y logístico de Bolonia».

New dates have been presented for Cersaie 2026, which will take place at BolognaFiere from September 21 to 25 next year. The move was decided to allow the setting up of the tennis village in view of the Davis Cup finals, which will be held precisely in the fairgrounds of the Emilia capital.

The 2026 edition of the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings will in fact be held a week earlier than scheduled.

The decision was made following the confirmation that BolognaFiere will host the Davis Cup tennis final, among the world’s most important sporting events, for three years, which will be held in BolognaFiere’s spaces.

“It is an honor for BolognaFiere to host an international event such as the Davis Cup, which will give additional prestige to the city. I would like to thank the president of Confindustria Ceramica Augusto Ciarrocchi, the general director Armando Cafiero and the entire organization of Cersaie 2026 for the helpfulness and spirit of collaboration with which the shifting of dates was accepted. This synergy between major trade fair and sports events demonstrates the strength and flexibility of our system,” said BolognaFiere President Gianpiero Calzolari.

“We adhered wholeheartedly to BolognaFiere’s request to bring forward the holding of Cersaie 2026,” Augusto Ciarrocchi commented, “because of the well-established partnership that binds us and to also ensure our contribution to the best realization of an event of great international prestige such as the Davis Cup, with the certain value it will bring to our territories.
